Project Details
I have an older 2009 Goodman packaged AC/Furnace system on my building’s roof. I know the entire system needs to be replaced, but I need to coordinate with my upstairs neighbor to split the cost. The company previously replaced my inducer motor for $1,400 during an emergency when I had no heat. During that service, the technician noted the gas valve was rusty and not opening, requiring him to manually open it. I have since cancelled the gas valve replacement request as I haven't had issues with the heat starting, and I plan to shop around for other quotes. Access to the unit is through my upstairs neighbor's unit, deck, and a spiral staircase to the roof.
