Is $1,900 to remove 4 wall boots with asbestos tape a fair price?
Project Details
I am installing new ducts, a heat pump, and an air handler. During this process, I discovered that 4 of my high wall vents have asbestos tape. I was quoted $1900 for the removal and am asking if this is a reasonable price and if there are any safety concerns. They have already pulled the whole boot and painted the wall inside. I am also questioning if the material is actually asbestos.
