Is $6,379 to install a Honeywell HM750 humidifier a fair price?
Project Details
I am getting quotes to have a Honeywell HM750A steam humidifier installed. I believe the unit itself costs about $1,100, plus $50-100 for a small condensate pump. My house is basically brand new (8 months old). The HVAC system is in my basement with accessible cold water within 2 feet, accessible to the drain, and an electrical panel. I have a pre-existing condensate pump on the HVAC unit. I am looking for a more reasonably priced installation, as this quote feels like extortion compared to material costs.
