Is $5,000 to replace attic duct work for a 2-ton unit a fair price?
Project Details
I was quoted $2500 per ton for this work, which seemed expensive for my 2-ton unit. I had similar work done about 6 years ago for another house in the same area for about a third of this price. I priced out the total material cost myself, and it would be around $1200 retail based on the current setup diameter and local code related to r-factor. I may have to DIY it.
