Is $4,000 to fix a Freon leak in AC unit a fair price?
Project Details
My AC was working great just a few days ago, blowing super cold air. Now it's barely cooling at all. I noticed the outside condenser is blowing air that feels like room temperature, not hot like it used to. The copper pipes are also just ambient temp. I'm questioning if all the Freon could leak out that fast and if a bad capacitor could be the issue instead. I'm planning to test it tomorrow with a multimeter that I just ordered.
