replace AC unit with a 1.5 ton Lenox Merit ml14xc1

Is $4,900 to replace AC unit with a 1.5 ton Lenox Merit ml14xc1 a fair price?

Project Details

My air conditioning stopped pumping cold air, even after changing filters and cleaning the condenser. The vents blow air and the condenser fans spin, but the air isn't cold. My current unit is a 9-year-old Coleman. An HVAC person suggested it's a coolant leak, and fixing it would cost between $500 and $1200 with a high chance of needing another fix within a year due to the unit's age. I'm considering replacing it. My furnace is also 9 years old and working fine, and I'm wondering if I should replace it along with the AC.
