Is $1,500 to replace a furnace blower motor a fair price?

At the end of September, I had a tech come out to do a tune up on my furnace. He showed me that the blower motor was leaking oil which caused dust to stick to the fan and that there was an oil stain on one of the panels. The tech said it is currently working fine but will need to be replaced at some point. Currently the furnace is still working perfectly fine.
