Is $930 to install a 1-ton mini split in a garage a fair price?
Project Details
I'm looking to get a mini split in my garage, which is just under 500 sq ft with 8 ft ceilings. I plan to insulate the garage door soon. I've received several online quotes and am seeking opinions on them. I'm leaning towards the Trane, Carrier, or Daikin units because I'm familiar with these brands, even though they are more expensive. All quoted units are 1-ton, 1200 BTU. Summers in Texas are quite brutal.
