Is $1,500 to replace the condenser fan motor and fan on a York Affinity AC unit a fair price?
Project Details
My AC stopped working after I returned from vacation. A technician diagnosed the issue as a faulty fan motor. I'm concerned about the estimated cost of $1,500, which seems high to me, especially since the technician also suggested that the motor might be difficult to obtain, but I believe it's readily available. I'm wondering if this is a fair price.
