Is $15,000 to install a single head 3 ton Mitsubishi mini split unit a fair price?

I am looking for a mini-split unit. I know Mitsubishi is considered the best, but the quotes I've received for them, such as $15,000 for a single-head 3-ton unit, are very high. I am also considering Daikin and am waiting for a quote. I am wondering if there are any reliable mid-level or cheaper brands like Pioneer, C&H, or Senville that offer decent customer support and warranty for everyday continuous use, as it seems most people only recommend Mitsubishi and Daikin.
