Is $11,000 to upgrade an existing 15-year-old AC system with a new Amana 5-ton variable speed gas system a fair price?

After a few years of trouble with my 15-year-old AC, I'm finally upgrading it. I have a few quotes, but this Amana system seems to be the best price from a reputable company for a full system with variable speed, as other places only offered single-stage for cheaper. I've never heard of Amana before and I'm unsure if it's reliable or how well it performs in the ever-increasing Texas heat. I also got quotes for Lennox, Trane, Carrier, and Ruud; the others were much more expensive, and I didn't like the Ruud people. If I didn't get this one, a similar Trane one would be about $4,000 more expensive.
