Is $3,800 to replace mobile home furnace a fair price?
Project Details
Five years ago, I had a propane furnace installed in my mobile home. Last winter, I experienced bad headaches and an egg smell, and my meters showed 13,000 ppm of carbon dioxide. An HVAC technician informed me that the previous installation used a regular furnace not meant for a mobile home, and a jerry-rigged ventilation system caused the unit to break. I am now facing a full replacement and am looking for a reliable, not too costly, and quiet furnace.
