Is $2,800 to replace a circuit board in a Goodman furnace a fair price?

I recently had an issue with my heat not coming on despite the thermostat being set to heat. My Goodman furnace is less than 5 years old but no longer under warranty. The repairman diagnosed a bad circuit board, showing an error code of 000 and not connecting with the thermostat, even though the heat was working yesterday. I was quoted $2800 for the replacement and installation, which seems unusually expensive to me. The repair company didn't list the model number on their quote.
