Is $8,750 to replace central air conditioning system a fair price?

My central air system is about 20 years old, and the air handler for the first zone has failed. I anticipate the condenser will also fail soon, so I got a quote to replace both. I've used this company for years for servicing my equipment, including my furnace, and they've always been fair. I'm wondering if this quote is fair market value or if I'm being blinded by loyalty, and if I should get additional quotes.
