Is $2,500 to spray foam garage ceiling under bedroom a fair price?
Project Details
My bedroom is above my 2-car garage and is cold. The garage ceiling currently has inadequate fiberglass batting. I have access to the joist bays from an adjacent boiler room but want to avoid ripping down the finished garage ceiling. I am considering filling the joist cavities with cellulose as a less labor-intensive solution to improve comfort. My garage is drywalled, has an insulated door, block walls, and is not heated. I am also DIYing a 2000 sq ft basement.
