Is $5,000 to install spray foam insulation to r-49 specification a fair price?

Project Details

I am putting a 600sf addition on my 1954 cottage. The architect spec'd pre-manufactured trusses, but the limited cavity space means I need to meet R-49 code requirements. My builder estimates that switching to stick framing to allow for cheaper insulation would cost an additional $5,000 in lumber and drawings.
