Is $1,200 to professionally install spray foam insulation a fair price?
Project Details
I need to insulate 300 sq ft of ceiling space with spray foam. Local companies have a minimum charge of $1200, covering 1200 sq ft, which is more than I need. I'm considering DIY but am concerned about the health risks and the technique required, especially since I've never done it before. My house is old and poorly air-sealed, and it was a flip. I also face challenges with my wife's reluctance regarding extensive renovation work like taking down drywall.
