Is $2,700 to move range hood and stove to center with beams a fair price?

My cabinets were installed last week, and I am unhappy that the range hood is not centered between the beams, despite my initial concerns. The cabinet guy convinced me it would look acceptable, but I dislike the current placement. I am considering paying to have it moved to achieve proper centering.
