Is $3,000 to professionally paint kitchen cabinetry a fair price?
Project Details
I just bought a home and will be moving in soon. I want to update the kitchen but I have a small kitchen-updates budget (3-4k max if needed) to spend as soon as I close. The wood seems to be good quality and in good shape but it seems to have been around since the original building (1990s) and that maple color combined with the black countertop feels dated to me. I want to aim for a more modern feel. I have heard of staining but that seems more expensive and doesn't work as well for non-wood colors.
