Is $10,000 to reface kitchen cabinets a fair price?
Project Details
I am looking to do kitchen renovation this year for our townhouse kitchen. It's a small (10x12) L shaped kitchen with peninsula in a HCOL area. We want to either update existing cabinets or replace, add a new countertop, new backsplash, and new appliances. We may or may not rent the property in the next 5 years, or we may end up selling the house (pretty undecided at this point). The kitchen has a few functional issues, but we also want a modern updated look. Refacing won’t solve the functional issues, but replacing may give us a blank slate to work on.
