Is $4,000 to remove and replace concrete at a wall corner a fair price?

Project Details

I live in a 85 year old house and over the past 10 years these hairline diagonal cracks have grown. Would like to do something about it but would like to know the best way. Based on research, they seem minor and normal for concrete, but would like to get other input before hiring an expensive engineer or contractor that’ll try to take advantage of me.
