Is $650 to repair a small section of Hardieboard siding a fair price?
Project Details
We had a part of our siding cut out to access the AC drain for replacement and now need it repaired. Our drywall guy quoted us $250 but backed out because we didn’t want him to fix the drywall for $750 as well. It’s a small section (about 2ft”) and we told him we’re fine with not making it look perfect just wanted a functional repair. I'm wondering if this is an appropriate quote or if these people are just overpricing it because they don’t want to do a small money job.
