Is $1,500 to repair a stucco spot and paint a fair price?
Project Details
I recently bought my first house. As part of the closing, a new roof was put on, and somehow this stucco damage occurred. The seller couldn't fix it before closing due to tight timing, so they got a bid for the repair and deducted that amount from the closing costs. I'm not directly paying for this, but I want to understand if the $1,500 bid is a fair price and learn what to expect for future repairs, as I'm not well-versed in building repair. The damage is just in one spot and is pretty out of sight, which made me question if the price was high.
