Is $10,000 to install 5 feet of EverBrace at the corner a fair price?
Project Details
I have a 5-foot tall treated wood crawlspace/foundation on sand and clay soil by water, in an area with deep freeze in a long winter. One corner of the outside wall is tilting into the crawlspace by 1.5 inches at the top. I don't know how long it's been like this, but there are no cracks or rot in the wood, and it has good attachment to the cement footer and doesn't look detached from the top. I've been told it's due to frost pushing it in and water, which I've tried to fix by regrading the yard, putting in French drains, and getting gutters. I just don't have much money right now for a full fix, so I'm looking for a "bandaid" solution like Gorilla Brace to prevent it from getting worse until I can save up for a professional repair.
