Is $6,500 to paint 2 bedrooms, a living room, and a hallway a fair price?

I will be taking down all the wallpaper myself. I feel this quote seems really high, and I'm going to get another one because I don't know how much a job like this should cost. This is the second quote I've received, and I also got another one for $4500. It seemed like the guy didn't want to do the job; he even pointed out another painting van across the street and suggested I get a quote from them.
