Is $240 to stain 4 oak veneer doors a fair price?
Project Details
I bought 4 unfinished Oak Veneer doors from Wickes for around £60 each. I have some Osmo Oil (Raw Transparent) and want the doors stained. I've seen people do it with a microfibre cloth on TikTok, but others say specific tools and methods are needed. I'm considering hiring a decorator, but the quoted price of £60 per door (£240 total) seems pricey to me, and I have limited knowledge about the going rate. I've never done this before myself.
