Is $20,000 to paint the exterior of a single-level stucco home a fair price?
Project Details
A family member in the LA area sought an exterior paint quote for their single-level stucco home, built in 1959. The house was last painted around 2005. I was surprised by the initial $20,000 quote, as I had my own house painted in the Midwest for about $7,000 two years ago. I expected it to be higher in Southern California, but not this high, and I'm looking for perspective on typical costs in the area.
