Is $14,000 to paint the entire interior of my house a fair price?

I just purchased this new house and am having work done. I'm frustrated because I want to move in, which is why I hired professional painters. It's difficult because I live an hour and a half away and am rarely there. I'm considering pulling out of the entire house project, but the quote was a lump sum and not itemized, so I'm concerned about being charged excessively for the work they've already done poorly.
