Is $2,100 to repair drywall damage and nail pops a fair price?

Project Details

My mom is moving into a split-level house and I am managing the renovations. We had a drywall contractor scraping popcorn ceilings and painting while a flooring contractor installed hardwood on the upper level. The drywall contractor claimed the flooring installation caused damage to his finished work and performed repairs without prior approval or documentation.

Quote Details

Repairing damage allegedly caused by flooring installation on the level above, including: - Fix scrapes and handprints on walls - Repair nail pops in the ceiling on the level below the new floor installation
