Is $1,590 to replace pool light with a new colored one a fair price?

Our pool light needs to be replaced. I asked for one that can change color, and I was quoted $1,590. It seems high to me, and I'm wondering if this is a normal price for this type of work. I'll need to clarify if the new light is an LED.
