Is $800 to replace pool light with LED a fair price?

My pool light is currently out. It was replaced 4 years ago when the pebble tech was done, and I believe it was an LED. I'm being told by my pool guy that the cost to replace it is about $800 for an LED or $500 for a regular bulb, and I'm questioning if these prices are accurate.
