Is $3,000 to install an LED pool light a fair price?

I'm looking for help evaluating a pool quote from a tile guy who also does pool work. I'm confident in his tile work, but unsure about his pool pricing, especially for the LED light installation which seems high compared to what I've seen (1.5-1.7K vs his 3K). I also know little about the recommended Jandy Truclear Salt System. He also advised against using pool plaster with dyes, which is a color I liked. I want to use him for other reasons, but I need to ensure the pool work is handled correctly as I don't know enough about pools, unlike pavers.
