Is $180 to repair a salt cell a fair price?
Project Details
I bought a house with a pool about two years ago and started getting a "low salt" error message last week. I replaced salt but the error msg continued. I had the water tested today and salt levels were fine. I came home and gave the salt cell a soak in 1:10 HCL. Unfortunately still getting the error. The unit says manufactured in 2019 so I'd assume it's 5-6 years old. My salt cell runs year round.
