Is $3,000 to replace a 27' x 52" above ground pool liner a fair price?

This quote for a liner replacement seems crazy to me, so I wanted to see if that seems realistic to everyone here. I bought my house with the pool 5 years ago, so I have no idea how old the pool is. I almost want to see how much it would cost to just get a whole new pool so I can at least finance it and have a warranty.
