Is $170 to maintain an inground vinyl lined pool with chemicals included a fair price?

I just purchased a house with an inground vinyl lined pool. While it's very common in some parts of the US, it's not so common down here in south Texas. I think the monthly service at $170, including chemicals, seems like a bargain to let someone who knows what they are doing keep up with the pool, especially since my time is pretty maxed. The pool is around 18,000 gallons and pretty featureless. I'm not sure what it has currently, but we will probably be doing a new liner at the end of this season. We are also considering raising the depth from 10 ft to 5.5 ft at the deepest end.
