I've been working on my pool, which was green and now looks milky, and I can't see the bottom. I've encountered problems like insufficient circulation and no water flow to the skimmer. I'm concerned that tough algae stains on the wall, floor, tiles, and waterline grout will remain even after the water clears because the pool was green for a long time. My pool is about 16,000 gallons.
