Is $62,000 to install a 15x28 pebble shaped shotkrete pool turnkey package a fair price?
Project Details
I am considering a new year's special turnkey package from a local pool builder. I'm having him come out this week to see the property. I'd like to reasonably add on an electric chiller/heater if possible. He's also going to look into quoting me a retaining wall since my backyard is on a slope. I need to ask about the cost to pull permits, electrical work, and haul away dirt. I also need to know if I need to take down part of my fence for backyard access. I would prefer a free-form pool with more curves and an 18x28 size instead of the 15x28 kidney shape, but I'm okay with the kidney shape if the upgrades are too expensive. I'm also interested in adding a sundeck shelf and Cool Deck for the concrete. This is my first time considering a pool. I want to use it early and deep in the season with my two teenage daughters and dogs. I don't want to add a propane tank to the backyard as a small one is already there, and I'm okay with electric. The electrical panels are in the basement near the back deck for easy wiring access. I'm wondering if $62,000 is a good price for what is being offered, especially since he's coming out to give an all-in-one price including the retaining wall, and I might provide my own chiller/heater.
