Is $1,000 to fill the pool with water trucks a fair price?
Project Details
I am currently doing a pool renovation. My contractor is recommending that I use trucks to fill the pool, stating that using a hose would take a long time and that I would be responsible for repairs if something happened to his pumps, which he would lend me. I know others who use a hose because it is cheaper, and I am questioning if it is standard practice to make me pay for repairs of the pump. My pool is a vinyl liner pool, and the pump mentioned is a vacuum pump used to suck the air out. There are no water table issues.
