Is $7,600 to install a 5000M safety cover for a pool a fair price?

I currently have a tarp that’s put over for the winter, but it becomes an ugly sight that ends up with water going into the pool when the tarp gets too heavy. My pool is 30,000 gallons. I'm in NY and so we’re always getting lake effect snow. I wanted to get people’s thoughts on the difference between the liners and if it’s worth it in the first place.
