Is $81,000 to build a 15x25 pool with Baja shelf, concrete decking, and patio cover a fair price?

Project Details

I am about to pull the trigger on this pool build. I've received two bids so far and feel good about this company. I opted out of water features and a built-in hot tub due to cost and California's Title 24 regulations, which make heating a built-in hot tub very expensive and restrict gas as the primary heat source for pools (60% must come from renewable energy). I plan on getting an above-ground hot tub on the side of the house within the next year, as a $5k above-ground option is more palatable than a $20k built-in one. My yard is pretty small, so the 15x25 pool size is what will fit. The pool will be approximately 10,000 gallons. I'm wondering if the 120k BTU heat pump will be sufficient for a pool of this size.
