Is $16,000 to remodel a pool with pebbletech and new tile a fair price?
Project Details
I paid a contractor $8,000 upfront for a $16,000 pool remodel. Most of the work is done, with the exception of my water features, which they claimed were on "order." It's been 8 months with zero contact from the contractor. I did not sign a contract, but they provided one. Another pool company confirmed the work looks great and that the completed work (going from normal plaster to midnight blue pebble tech) is worth more than the $8,000 I've already paid. I still owe them the other half.
