Is $600 to perform a pool leak detection a fair price?
Project Details
This is our first summer with a pool at our new home. We hired a weekly pool maintenance service. After a few weeks, we were told the gauge/air release valve needed replacement. The same day it was replaced, the heater started showing a "fuse link fault" error and hasn't been repaired yet. Over the weekend, I noticed the water level dropping faster than expected and wrinkles appearing on the liner. I'm being told we need a leak detection package. I'm wondering if all these issues are just coincidences and if they can happen to a 5-year-old pool.
