Is $450 to patch a leaking roof a fair price?

Project Details

I had my roof replaced about 3 years ago, and it's been leaking for the last year. The contractor sent me pictures and said the heat split it open. I asked how he plans on fixing it, and he said he'd get some adhesive and a little bit of rubber to patch the holes and then re-pitch all the seams. I'm unsure if this approach will work.

Quote Details

The contractor offered to fix the roof leak with the following work: - Install new piece of rubber - Apply adhesive glue - Re-pitch all seams

Install a drain and patch a rubber roof to fix pooling water

The quote is for addressing a sagging rubber roof with pooling water that caused ceiling leaks and snapped rafters. The work includes: - Drain water and dry the roof - Install a new drain at the roof's new low point - Run PVC piping from the new drain to an existing drain, approximately 4 feet away - If the existing rubber roof cannot be sealed back up, a 10x10 foot piece will be provided and patched in at no additional cost
