After 25 years in my house, it's time to replace my roof. I don't know much about roof replacement costs and was initially expecting a lower price, around $10,000-$12,000, as my roof seems like a simple job. I'm getting two more estimates, but this first one is from a well-regarded roofing company. I'm looking for ideas on what a median cost would be. Based on some research, I've found that the quoted range of $15,000-$17,000 seems to be in the ballpark. I am now planning to enter into a contract with this roofer due to their good reputation.
