After 25 years, it's time to replace my roof. I don't know much about roof replacement costs and was initially expecting something between $10,000-$12,000 for what seems like a simple job. I'm getting two more estimates, but this first one is from a well-regarded roofing company. I'm looking for ideas on what a median cost would be. Based on some research, I'm now in the ballpark of typical costs and plan to enter into a contract with this roofer due to their good reputation.
