Is $5,800 to replace a residential roof a fair price?
Project Details
I am not complaining and honestly feel like I got my money's worth, but I'm seeking opinions on the work itself and if there are areas where it could've been improved. I do handyman work on the weekends, so I'm confident I could handle minor fixes like caulking. I received a 5-year warranty on the work. I found a couple of nails in the gutter after the job. The old roof was definitely way past its lifespan. I hope to get 15 to 20 years out of this new roof. I would have preferred Landmark shingles but couldn't find anyone to install them for less than $7,800.
