Is $6,300 to upgrade from Atlas Pinnacle Impact to Malarkey Legacy shingles a fair price?

My roofer is asking for an additional $6,300 to upgrade from Atlas Pinnacle Impact (Class 4) shingles to Malarkey Legacy (also Class 4). My roof is about 6,400 sq. ft. I checked with local supply stores, and the price difference between the two is around $20 per square. When I brought this up to my roofer, he said there are additional costs involved, including freight, since he's sourcing the Malarkey shingles from the Oklahoma plant. I'm located in Dallas. I'm wondering if this price difference seems reasonable, or if this is more of a "I don't want to do it" kind of quote. Any advice is appreciated!
