Is $7,000 to reroof a house a fair price?
Project Details
I had my roof reroofed using old and reclaimed delta tiles. The contract stated that broken tiles would be replaced where needed. The roofer left some broken tiles and fixed others with cement, which I am unhappy with. The roofer claimed that because the tiles are old, they would break if he tried to replace the broken ones, but I believe this is due to poor workmanship. I still owe £1000 of the total £7000 cost. I was also promised a 10-year guarantee which I have not received. I am considering hiring another roofer to properly replace the broken tiles and sending the invoice to the original roofer.
