Is $17,000 to replace roof a fair price?
Project Details
I need some advice regarding a brand new roof I just got for my house. It's barely 3 years old, and I had a few leaks. The builder stated my warranty was voided due to solar installation, which is a separate issue. I had to get the roof done because I'm military and moving overseas, so I need to rent out my house. After the final inspection, I noticed chips on the tiles. The roofing company claims these chips don't harm the roof's integrity, but I paid $17,000 and expect no cracked or chipped tiles. I'm wondering if I'm overreacting or if others would be okay with this.
