I got a quote for $1800 to fix a leak coming in around a vent. I'm wondering if this is something I can tackle myself. I've noticed water pooling behind the vent, and I suspect the repair might involve replacing a few new shingles and possibly the vent itself. The leak appears to be at the back of the vent.
